Accessibility Statement

Target standard

We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA for the public website and participant-facing digital materials where reasonably achievable.

Current measures

• Semantic headings and landmarks.
• Keyboard-accessible navigation and forms.
• Visible focus indicators.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images.
• Readable contrast, responsive text, and large touch targets.
• Form labels, instructions, error messaging, and status announcements.
• Reduced-motion support.

Testing

The site is reviewed using automated checks, keyboard testing, responsive browser testing, and manual inspection. Automated tools cannot prove full conformance, so user feedback remains important.

Known limitations

Some linked third-party services, generated files, legacy documents, or embedded content may not meet the same standard. We work to provide an accessible alternative when notified.

Alternative formats and accommodation

To request another format, help with an application, captioning, interpretation, or another reasonable accommodation, email contact@sozorockfoundation.org. Include the page or material, the barrier, the requested format, and a way to respond.

Response and escalation

We aim to acknowledge accessibility requests within five business days. Complex remediation may take longer. If a concern is not resolved, reply to the same message and request escalation to Foundation leadership.
