Terms of Use
These terms govern use of the SozoRock AI Lab website and related public services. Program-specific participation terms may also apply after selection.
Acceptance and eligibility
By using the website or submitting a form, you agree to these terms. You must be legally able to provide the information submitted and must not use the service on behalf of another person without authority.
Educational purpose
The Lab provides educational and program-related information. It does not provide legal, medical, financial, tax, employment, procurement, cybersecurity, or other professional advice.
Accuracy and accounts
Information submitted must be accurate and lawful. If accounts are later introduced, users will be responsible for credentials, activity, and prompt notice of suspected compromise.
AI outputs
AI-generated or AI-assisted material may be incomplete, incorrect, biased, outdated, or unsuitable. Users must review sources, facts, rights, confidentiality, and consequences before relying on, publishing, deploying, or automating an output. High-impact decisions must not be delegated solely to AI.
No guaranteed admission or outcome
An application does not guarantee admission, selection, funding, employment, certification, accreditation, partnership, tool access, or any personal or business result. Program dates, format, content, eligibility, tools, facilitators, and capacity may change.
Acceptable use
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy and Responsible AI Use Policy. We may restrict or end access for conduct that threatens people, systems, program integrity, or legal compliance.
Participant content
You retain ownership of original work you submit, subject to rights you already granted to others. You grant the Foundation a limited license to store, process, review, and return the work for program delivery. Public display, marketing, or publication requires separate permission unless the material was clearly submitted for public release.
Materials, licenses, and trademarks
Different materials have different permissions. Identified software source files are available under the MIT License. Curriculum, guides, templates, and educational content marked CC BY 4.0 may be copied, adapted, and shared, including commercially, with appropriate attribution and an indication of changes. These licenses do not grant rights to SozoRock names, logos, trademarks, personal data, photographs, participant work, policy pages, or third-party materials. Third-party services
Third-party websites, cloud services, AI tools, software, or resources are governed by their own terms, privacy practices, availability, and fees. Reference to a service does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features or content. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the website and public materials are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness, non-infringement, availability, or a particular result.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Foundation and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, facilitators, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the public website or third-party tools. Applicable law may not allow all limitations.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, contact the Foundation and allow a reasonable opportunity to address the concern. Courts with jurisdiction in New York will have venue unless applicable law requires otherwise.
General terms
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms and incorporated policies are the complete public website agreement unless another written agreement applies.
