Complaints and Grievances
The Foundation welcomes good-faith concerns about access, conduct, discrimination, privacy, safety, program decisions, or policy compliance.
What may be reported
Reports may concern harassment, discrimination, retaliation, accessibility, privacy, unsafe technology use, participant conduct, application or program process, conflicts of interest, misuse of funds, or another policy concern.
How to report
Email contact@sozorockfoundation.org. Include what happened, dates, people involved, records or witnesses, prior efforts to resolve the issue, the requested response, and any urgent safety concern.
Anonymous reports
Anonymous reports may be considered where feasible, but limited information may restrict review or response. Do not use anonymity to make knowingly false statements.
Review process
The Foundation will acknowledge the report, identify a reviewer without a known conflict, gather relevant information, protect confidentiality as reasonably possible, and communicate an outcome or next step where appropriate.
Non-retaliation
Retaliation for a good-faith report, participation in a review, request for accommodation, or exercise of a legal right is prohibited.
Escalation
A person may request leadership review if new information exists, a conflict affected the review, or the stated process was not followed. Emergency or criminal matters should be directed to the appropriate authority.
