Participant Work and Media Consent
Participation does not automatically grant permission to use a person’s identity, image, voice, testimonial, or work for public promotion.
Separate permission
Public use requires a separate, informed permission describing the material, purpose, channels, duration, editing, attribution, and whether the permission can be withdrawn.
Choices
A participant may agree to some uses and decline others. Declining optional media or marketing permission will not by itself determine participation.
Participant work
Before displaying project work, the Lab will confirm ownership, remove sensitive information, identify third-party material, and agree on attribution or anonymity.
Withdrawal
A participant may ask the Lab to stop future use by emailing contact@sozorockfoundation.org. Material already printed, distributed, archived, or lawfully relied upon may not be fully retrievable.
Minors
Use of a minor’s image, voice, or work requires a separate youth-safeguarding process and parent or guardian permission where required.
